Resync
Resync sends the current state of work items that already have a copy again: fields, status, comments and attachments. Use it after you fixed the cause of a problem, or to bring a work item back in step. Resync never creates a copy for a work item that has none, and it never changes the assignee or reporter of the other work item.
Resync one work item
Open the work item in Jira.
In the Hooq - Work Sync Panel, select Resync.
You should see: the message Resync completed. after a short while.
Resync many work items
Open the Hooq and select ... in the header, then Resync.
You should see: the window Resync work items with one box for Project A and one for Project B.Type a JQL filter in one box or both, for example
key = HQA-5. Hooq limits it to the project shown above the box. You must fill in at least one box; otherwise the window says Provide at least one JQL filter.Select Resync and wait. A big filter can take a while and the button stays grey.
What the result says
| You see | It means |
|---|---|
| Resync completed with counts such as 1 issues updated, 0 comments, 0 attachments, 1 status updates, 1 skipped | The work items that matched were sent again. The numbers are per project. |
| Nothing was resynced and no issues matched the JQL | The filter found no work items in that project. |
| was skipped: not linked (no partner issue found) | That work item has no copy, so there was nothing to resend. This is normal for work items from before the Hooq. |
| A red message starting with Resync search failed | The JQL has a syntax error. Fix it and try again. |
