How to handle a file larger than 3.5 MB

Goal

Get a large file to the other site when the copy was refused.

Before you start

• You saw the error Attachment not copied or you know the file is large.

Steps

1. Open the Hooq, then the Troubleshooting tab, and find the entry Attachment not copied: ....

2. Choose: make the file smaller (compress it or split it) and attach it again, or attach the original file to the other work item by hand.

3. Select Clear Errors on the entry when you have dealt with it.

Expected result

The other work item has the file. The rest of the work item was synced anyway.

Common mistakes

• Expecting a setting to raise the limit: there is none. It comes from Forge platform limits.
• Expecting an error between two projects on the same site: Hooq sets no limit there.
