What is new

Set the Parent from a text field

In the Fields tab you can now map a single-line text field to Parent. The text holds the key of the parent work item on the destination instance; your own Jira Automation decides it, and Hooq only passes it on. Choose the direction towards Parent only. When Parent is the receiving field, the mapping window shows a short hint. Hooq's own handling of the parent of a work item is unchanged. Steps and rules: Set a Parent from a text field.

No Active tag in the Hooqs list

The Hooqs list no longer shows an Active tag next to a Hooq name. The tag only meant that the Hooq was the one opened last, and it was easy to read as running. The Status column shows the real state of every Hooq.

Known limitations

• A wrong key in the text field makes Jira refuse the whole update of that work item, and a new work item is not created. See the how-to guide for the rules.
