Release 5.126.0

Production Version 5.126.0 (2 October 2026)

What is new

File size between two sites: about 3.5 MB

Between two different Jira sites a file can now be up to about 3.5 MB (a Forge platform limit). It was about 2.5 MB. Larger files are still not copied, and the error is shown in the Troubleshooting tab. The Attachments tab states the new size. On one site Hooq sets no limit.

Hooq pages are for Jira administrators; everyone can use the panel

The Hooq page and all its actions are for Jira administrators. Every user who can see a work item can still use the Hooq - Work Sync Panel: Resync, add a comment and add an attachment. A regular user who reaches an administrator action sees This action is restricted to Jira administrators.

Hooq dashboard gadget: administrators only for now

The Hooq dashboard gadget shows its data to Jira administrators only. Other users see Hooq dashboard data is available to Jira administrators.

Hooq overview

  • The list first shows Loading Hooqs.... No Hooqs yet appears only when the list loaded and is really empty.
  • The Draft state shows a dash while it loads. A running Hooq is no longer shown as Draft by mistake.
  • A new Hooq shows its row at once, and a Hooq you delete stays gone from the list.
  • If the list cannot be loaded, the page says so and tries again by itself. After your session has ended it asks you to reload the page.

Hooq panel on a work item

If the panel cannot load, it shows Unable to load Hooq status for this issue. and tries again. After several failed tries in a row it waits longer between tries.

Edits on the copy are better protected

A person's edit of the description of the copy is kept when an older change from the original arrives a short time later. This adds to the existing protection for edits made within about 2 seconds after a change of the original.

Migration

If Run again cannot clear the previous migration, the message Failed to clear the previous migration. is shown.
