Hooq Sync.
Webhooks meet Jira.

Surface Hooq webhook events directly on Jira issues. Inspect payloads, replay failures, and trigger automations — without leaving Jira or writing a line of code.

Features

Everything you need to connect webhooks to Jira.

Live webhook panel on every issue

A Forge issue panel shows every webhook event linked to that Jira issue — payload, timestamp, status code, and latency — updated in real time.

Replay from the issue view

Developers can replay a failed webhook event directly from the Jira issue without switching context. Retries are logged and visible to the whole team.

Automatic issue linking

Hooq Sync maps incoming webhook metadata (order IDs, customer IDs, entity references) to Jira issues using configurable field mappings.

Trigger automations from events

Use Jira Automation rules with Hooq webhook events as triggers. Move issues, assign tasks, or post comments automatically when an external system fires.

Setup

Up and running in three steps.

01

Connect your Hooq instance

Add your Hooq endpoint URL in the Forge app settings. No external OAuth required — authentication uses your existing Jira credentials.

02

Configure field mappings

Tell Hooq Sync which fields in incoming webhook payloads correspond to Jira issue identifiers. Supports nested JSON paths and regex extraction.

03

Events appear on issues automatically

From that point on, every webhook Hooq receives that matches a Jira issue shows up on the issue panel — no manual tagging or custom scripts.
